1. Help others
Get over yourself already! Life is not just about you! There are many people around you who are suffering and need your help. If you shift your focus from yourself to serving them, you will see an immediate improvement in your mood. 2. Go outside
Go for a walk in the country, go to the beach, or go for a hike in the mountains. Connecting to and appreciating nature will help you to see the perfection in everything, including yourself.
Just getting off your seat and moving your body will give you the feeling of accomplishing something. When you are involved in a physical activity that gets your heart pumping, your body releases endorphins which make you feel even better.
4. Hug somebody
When you cuddle with a pet, hug your children or embrace loved ones, your body produces oxytocin, the love hormone. Within minutes you’ll feel happier and more accepting of everyone and everything in your life. You’ll realize who and what really matter.
5. Meditate or pray
Ask for a solution and guidance from your inner guide or a higher power. Let go and trust that everything is going to work out for the best.
