If you have heard about the Law of Attraction, then you know that you are a magnet for attracting people, events and circumstances into your life.
If you are focused on, paying attention to and appreciating the things in life that bring you joy, you are most likely manifesting the life of your dreams.
If however, your attention wanders to your problems and obstacles, you are only attracting more problems and more difficulties into your life. Worrying makes it impossible to manifest your ideal life.
According to Bob Doyle, “Wealth is living the life that you desire in abundance and joy.” In Wealth Beyond Reason, Bob outlines six steps for creating the life that you desire:
1. Make a list
Experience or recognize what you DO NOT want. Shift your focus onto what you DO want and write it down. The key here is to use the word have instead of want when making your list. When you express your desires using the term want,
you are expressing your lack of having these things. When you use the term have, you can begin to feel gratitude and appreciation for your desires. This removes the resistance which is blocking you from having these things and matches your vibrations to your desires, allowing them to manifest in your life. You should also write how it feels to have the object of your dreams. For example: I have a cottage by the sea. It feels wonderful to spend my summers relaxing on the beach, breathing in the warm, salty air and enjoying quality time with friends and family.
2. Start each day with a visualization
As soon as you wake up, you should immediately focus on your ideals. You can get out your list and read through it, imaging each detail. Fully experience what is feels like to have your desires. Try to incorporate all five senses in your visualization.
3. Surround yourself with your desire
Carry your list with you wherever you go. Create a collage depicting your dream life. Look at it often and feel gratitude and appreciation. Know that it is yours.
4. Mind your feelings
As long as you are in a place of joy and appreciation, you are magnetizing your desires and on the path to creating the life of your dreams. Notice when your attention shifts to the obstacles and problems preventing you from feeling gratitude. Realign your focus and shift your feelings by thinking of a happy memory or someone you love. It is helpful to rebalance and unblock the energy in your body if your experience a negative emotion by doing these exercises.
5. Take inspired action
Pay attention to your gut feelings and intuition, especially if they bring you feelings of joy. They are nudges from the Universe guiding you into your perfect life. Trust that this action is inspired, so go for it!
6. Watch your dreams manifest!
Every day, at all times you are attracting circumstances and objects into your life. Pay attention to and appreciate each tiny detail bringing you closer to your heart’s desire. Let go and allow the Universe to manifest your wishes or something better! Trust that fulfillment can come in many ways!
