Mantra Meditation for Manifesting Abundance

This week my mother told me about some unexpected money she had received. I was blown away when she proceeded to tell me that she believe it manifested as a result of focusing her morning meditation with the Lakshmi mantra! I had to find out more….

Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, love, prosperity (both material and spiritual), fortune and the embodiment of beauty. In modern times, Lakshmi is worshipped as the goddess of wealth. She is also worshipped as the consort of Vishnu in many temples.

“Om Shreem Maha Lakshmiyei Namah” is a blessing mantra for abundance and prosperity on both the physical and spiritual planes.

Mantras are Sanskrit words, sounds or phrases which are repeated in meditation as an object of concentration. The vibrational quality of the mantra sound currents are thought to help attune the mind and body, leaving one feeling refreshed, clean and purified. Mantras can be chanted out loud or internally.

Here is the Mantra my mother used and I love it too! I love the sweetness of the voice and the chant is one that I’ve found myself repeating out loud throughout the day. It’s short and therefore you can easily make time to sit quietly and practice this chant.

If you find you need something extra to connect to Lakshmi, she who provides abundance, add some of these affirmations to your morning ritual and whenever you’re feeling a wobble on this subject but you don’t have time or it’s not the right time to meditate. Use affirmations such as “I am abundance,” “I live in an abundant Universe,” “I have everything I need.”

Here’s to a wonderful December full of love, abundance, kindness and prosperity!

All Love
